Supervised by Dr. Alex VitkinUndergraduate thesis project - to perform textural analysis on volumetric images obtained through optical coherence tomography (OCT) in an attempt to detect early radiobiological changes of single dose irradiated tumours.
Developed MATLAB script to perform 3D gray level co-occurence matrix textural analysis on specified regions of OCT images.

Supervised by Dr. Peter Harmsma. Examined experimental changes observed in the free spectral range (FSR) when creating layer-by-layer polyelectrolyte deposition on optical ring resonator chips. Developed MATLAB code to determine experimentally observed shifts in FSR in comparison to machine artefacts created by limited scanning speed of VSCEL laser and shifting wavelengths. Created various simulations of waveguides using PhotonDesign FIMMWAVE software.
