My research continues to focus on fresh food access for low income, vulnerable, and/or ethnic populations and the barriers that prevent specific populations from securing healthy, fresh, nutritious food. I am a lifelong activist with a passion for social justice, a resilient and healthy community, economic equity, the environment and citizen-driven government. I currently work with farmers in Louisiana and Mississippi navigating and creating local food supply chains and hemp production in the south. I do not have patience for gatekeeping or organizations that do not collaborate/communicate/cooperate. NONE. Climate changes are real. Let's work together so that generations to come are secure in their own futures.
