CurrentMonica Compton, CMP, has 30 years of experience as a journalist and global event marketing consultant. She holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation which recognizes a senior level of experience among her colleagues. Compton’s background includes the implementation of large-scale global leadership meetings, intimate training seminars, and high-level sales incentives. Past and present clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Ford Motor Company, IBM, Compaq/Hewlett-Packard, Samsung, Research In Motion, First Data, Medtronic, and Vanguard. She also manages an annual series of trade shows for Cox Business, a national communications company. Compton is a leader in the meeting planning industry. She presents educational seminars and moderates panels at meeting association conferences and segment-marketing trade shows.
