I am not your conventional designer as I have a wealth or experience in project management and construction, I am a Interior designer, a bespoke cabinet designer . I also offer a service that includes retail design & signage, corporate branding, graphic artwork for bespoke wall murals and manifestations. Through my experience, I have an excellent understanding of product knowledge and applications. In November 2013 I joined IMAGE Magazine in preparation of the launch of their latest Title - BASH Wedding magazine. My mission was to achieve the advertising sales targets on a brand new magazine in a competitive market. Having successfully met with these targets I was later promoted as the Advertising Director of IMAGE Interiors & Living Magazine. I excelled in creating bespoke partnerships and inspiring concepts to assist brands to maximise their presence in print and online. Being creative and sales driven was integral to the success of my role, and with the assistance of the editorial and design team concepts became a reality. Other duties included, planning, forecasting, prospecting, lead generation, competitor analysis, cold calling, meeting & exceeding weekly sales targets, develop & update pipelines, update CRM system, attend debtor and senior management meetings. To identify new opportunities and concepts, brainstormed and worked closely with the editorial & design team. Coordinated content & art work with clients & production team and overseen sign off on production day. In addition to this there was always an opportunity to cross sell in IMAGE magazine,Garden Heaven, online with IMAGE.ie , Businesswoman of the year Awards, Sponsorship & events. Customer care was an integral part of my role and building relationships with clients and keeping them informed of opportunities as they arose. I represented and presented IMAGE PLC to international brand agencies, PR companies and Marketing Managers, liaised with decision makers and converted sales. The IMAGE sales team is at the epicenter of each title and some of the most momentous occasions we shared was when we all rowed together to get that ship across the line… GO TEAM ;-)

In July 2011; I opened the doors to an Art Studio for all ages in the leafy village of Ashford in the hope of salvaging my skills & experiences as a designer. One of the benefits of being a creative person is that you always adapt and recreate yourself depending on your environment. 2 years previous the recession struck and I had to archive my experience & qualifications as a Designer and retrain as a Sales & Marketing professional. It was a turning point in my career but also an opportunity to up skill and be creative in a different way. I learnt about SME's and the importance of marketing and branding your business. I took these tools with me into Budding Artists until the next chapter ...

• Promoted to Sales Manager for Flagship Magazine * IRISH TATLER further to meeting & exceeding sales targets on an annual Fashion & Beauty event .• Supported the Commercial Director by introducing new business & winning accounts. • Prospecting, lead generation & management of new business pipeline, winning clients. • Project Managed budgets, liaised with clients, planned out media spend and maximised on opportunities while maintaining excellent relations and customer service.

• Contracted to manage and oversee contractual works on behalf of the developer at Clancy Quay. • Followed up with legal and building contractors to ensure delivery of apartments for sale. • Negotiate the head of terms on rental agreements for commercial & retail property. • Liaised with the in-house design team and commercials to ensure the contractual deadline was met in accordance with planning conditions. • Monitored the design brief and specifications for the fit-out of showroom suites. • Update the developer & investors on progress of site works and proposed lease agreements.

ROLE : To manage & oversee commercial projects from concept to completion. • Coordinated installation of services for utilities in order to ensure completion of all works to the financial institutes deadlines. • Designed interiors and finishes for reception, boardroom, office layouts and canteens. • Liaised with new tenants and Management Company during fit-out of commercial rentals. • Coordinate multiple contractors, Landscape designers, steel fabricators, sign companies and car park operatives. • Monitored and reviewed the schedule of works in line with the BOQ and contract deadline. • Liaised with Q.S, Commercial Management & Architects to ensure delivery of fit outs to the highest standard. • Reviewed architects drawings and specifications to monitor progress bespoke alterations. • Inspection of works, snagging and sign off on finishes with QS and contractor.
