To lead the annual financial planning process for our Programmes department and in-year revision of plans in line with Finance Compliance Control Framework FCCF.To monitor and report on financial performance for Programmes.To support the Director of Programmes in the financial decision making process.To advise Directors and Project Managers in the different Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) to ensure the budgets for different projects are managed in line with British Council procedures and public finances. Ensured all income & expenditure transactions of the ELT operation are recorded in line with corporate standards and essential finance. Responsible for the overall monitoring of payments in liaison with project managers to ensure budgets are managed in line with British Council procedures as set out in Essential Finance Managed the cash flow process for ELT to meet with corporate deadlines.Responsible for the financial reports for contracts held with partners in the ELT Department.Managed our contracts process, including supporting projects coordinators and Admin Assistants in the financial conditions of negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.To line manage a designated Admin Support team in accordance with essential HR guidelines.

Ensured the efficient and appropiate control in Finance and Contracts for the ELT Department’s Projects, complying with corporate guidelines and local legislation.Monitored the entire ELT budget in order to ensure the correct execution of budget and funds.
