My responsibilities at Sony Ericsson, were in the Consumer Electronic area with WLAN system requirements and roadmaps, included Digital Home Scenarios e.g. DLNA. The role included benchmark, analyses of user scenarios, standardisation and certification. After more than four years experience in this area, I have a good overview of market, user experience, operators’ network configuration, certification and standardisation of WLAN and local connectivity in general. Chairman of Battery Life Measurement Group in GSMA that is responsible for the test specification used for certification current consumption in mobile phones eg. talk time. Focus areas during this period were VoLTE and other IMS services.

I was contracted as a Service Designer of network services in mobile network, included national and international roaming services. The work included feasability study of 3G national roming and I played a key role to get the right 3GPP standard concerning the use of radio access technology in background scan, to secure the network sharing.
