Worked on the publisher business development team at this fast-growing content marketing platform. In this role, I researched potential new partners, worked as a primary lead generation person, and helped to close and onboard new publishers to the platform.

Starfish advises, invests in and incubates businesses, mostly in the tech space. Some examples of companies that Starfish has incubated include Blurtopia (photo social network), HugPost (handwritten notes as a service - closed), CellarThief (curated commerce - acquired), and Fickle (smart jewelry controlled by an app - closed).

Helped found CellarThief, a company launching a series of wine focused websites. Cellarthief.com used current technologies to deliver folks great wines at stellar prices through a fun and casual website. It was acquired in February 2012. At CellarThief, I managed all customer service and direct sales efforts as well as operations. CellarThief, the company's main business, had been featured in major publications such as Rachael Ray, InStyle Magazine, ABC News, and a series of others. The company was named one of Internet Retailer's "Hot 100" for 2011/2012. At the heart of the company was a social mission - for every bottle of wine sold, water is donated to those in need.
