Hi everyone!I’m a civil engineer passionate about making a change in her community. Currently, my role is highly collaborative, working with a dynamic team to design roadway improvements, streets, highways and interstates. I work on plan development and production, quantity take-off and cost estimates, preparation of technical reports and specifications, and other engineering design tasks from preliminary to final design. My previous experience includes internships in roadway inspection, construction inspection, and some bridge inspection as well as material testing. My technical interests include finding ways to make cities more just, sustainable and climate resilient in our rapidly changing world. I value learning from others, hearing about other people’s passions, and making genuine connections. This is why my involvement with SHPE at Valparaiso University during undergrad was so important to me. I served one term as the SHPEtina Director for Region 6 post-graduation, and continue my involvement with SHPE to extend our mission of empowering Hispanic community to realize its full potential in STEM.I look forward to connecting with you and learning from all your achievements.
