As a program assistant for an international education nonprofit, I facilitated public diplomacy on a daily basis. I supported high school students from over 50 countries around the world as they navigated an immersing and challenging exchange year in the United States. • Processed host family and local coordinator applications for approval within set deadlines and in strict compliance with federal regulations;• Processed reimbursements and honoraria for students, host families, and consultants while maintaining budgets, increasing efficiency and streamlining procedures, increasing transparency for representatives in the field and adhering to documentation requirements of the finance department;• Interpreted hierarchical policies from three different sources with respect to finances, student on-program travel, liability and insurance, and host family vetting so as to explain these policies in a way easily understood by students, host families and coordinators. Proactively distributed information on these policies through training calls and emails;• Tracked donations to the program in the form of cost share;• Arranged travel for students and consultants for conferences and events;• Monitored and tracked regular reports from consultants and relayed significant findings to the team members; • Collaborated as part of a team on quarterly reports to sponsors and prepared detailed records for compliance and financial audits

Created concept and brand for this vintage clothing and accessories boutique. Designed and authored promotional materials, including professional website, graphic logos, and social media presence. Handpicked and altered each piece in the collection to cultivate a classic yet wearable aesthetic, and created visual displays that supported the design philosophy of the brand. Developed working relationships with other local lifestyle brands to execute collective temporary gallery retail events.

Developed, co-authored, and presented project proposal aimed at improving child protection mechanisms. Conducted interviews of teachers, students and government officials to gauge impact of child-centered learning project. Drafted annual report for project sponsors.

Researched cutting-edge antitrust and consumer protection issues and prepared written analysis and memoranda for Commissioner. Drafted speeches for the Commissioner on such topics as online consumer privacy policy and industry self-regulation, incorporating relevant case law and legislation. Proofread and cite-checked Commissioner's speeches, editorial articles, and statements; evaluated speeches for structure, flow and cohesiveness, and provided substantive feedback on consumer protection issues. Attended NGO and industry group panel discussions and Congressional hearings and drafted written coverage for Commissioner.
