UMMA is a non-for-profit arts organization with the University of Michigan, focused on arts/culture education. With an all-encompassing rotating gallery of artwork, my team's goal was to strategize, coordinate, and implement full-campaign marketing materials for print and web. We were also the point of contact with museum-goers and students.

Chelsea, Michigan

The River Gallery is a hidden cultural gem just outside of Ann Arbor, MI. I worked closely with the two directors to generate graphics and content for print, social media, email and websites. We also curated exhibitions locally, and at off site locations including the Rackham Graduate School in Ann Arbor, MI and "SculptureWalk" in Chelsea, MI. My soles tasks included managing documentation and storage of rotating artwork.

"Sam Survives" is a passion project for youth rights, based in the greater Detroit area. The use of illustrations allow for teenagers of variable reading capabilities to understand their resources and rights within the prison system. As the artist, I conceptualized and illustrated based on script. "Sam Survives" became a 40 page comic, distributed throughout U.S. and international prison systems for incarcerated males ages 15 to 18.

A Teavana Barista is considered a tea expert with a specialty focus in preparing tea and samples for customers. Baristas are also responsible for processing and merchandising tea products and accessories and ensuring that the sales floor is always stocked.

The School of Art and Design has two people acting as the "man behind the curtain." I had the pleasure to be one of these people for one year. This job required the ability to self-manage and prioritize among a myriad of tasks. I was entrusted with gallery and classroom design, as well as full-proofing large events and exhibitions.

The Girls and Boys Club of America provides a safe place for children to go after school. Day by day, I helped tutor in school work. At times, the children were able to decide a field trip. My focus then was to deliver an enriching experience that lived up to these children's passion, and leave them feeling capable to keep pursuing knowledge.

Kalamazoo, Michigan Area

The Kalamazoo Nature Center has a philosophy of teaching natural science through hands-on learning while outdoors. As a Senior Educator, I developed lesson plans each week, for a variety of classes, and taught children ages 3–17.
