Led the strategic direction of the Internal Audit function for Walmart Mexico and Central America (WALMEX) in the establishment of risked-based auditing which included reporting methodologies, organizational design and effective positioning of the function to ensure independent assurance and support management on strengthening the internal control environment. Reported to the Board of Directors and Chief Audit Executive of Walmart Stores Inc.

Managed the operations of the Trust Services Department worth US$ 60 Billion, overseeing compliance with localand U.S. fiduciary regulations, terms of the contracts, accounting standards and optimizing processes to achieveefficiencies and maximize profits.

Provided direction of risk focused auditing and reporting methodologies, consistent and aligned with business objectives and local regulatory requirements for Investment Management businesses, including international branches, Insurance company, Brokerage firm and telecommunication company.
