In March of 2012, I was offered a very special position assisting the Director of Marketing for a new pilot program called PlanSmart. PlanSmart was a highly coveted program, developed by MetLife Financial, to offer financial planning in the workplace for employees. Once the program was secured as an offering by our Director, I handled every facet of executing the delivery of this exceptional program, from marketing the event, ordering lunches, ordering custom workbooks for each participant, tracking leads from interested participants, tracking the RIO and supporting key presenters in the program, to expand their book of business through PlanSmart. This was an exciting position that allowed me to learn more about our industry partnerships, while focusing on small business owners, that through this pilot program, increased employee retention and provided a clear path for employees to leverage their income, by opening retirement saving plans and access to holistic financial planning opportunities throughout their careers.

In August of 2009, I was promoted as a Marketing Coordinator to the Director of Operations, tasked with organizing, planning and marketing our annual, firm wide, meetings for financial advisors in AZ, CA, NM and NV. I also had the pleasure of organizing events in the local community where "The Peanut's Gang" characters and the famous "MetLife" blimp made appearances and engaged community members to get involved in many community events. I was also instrumental in adhering to clearing outlined compliance guidelines through FINRA, successfully contributing to passing multiple audits.

This important role, lead me to grow throughout my many years at MetLife.

As a former residential Realtor with Keller Williams Northeast Realty in Scottsdale, Arizona, I had the privilege of working with Designated Broker, Scott Crouch and Realtor, Megan DeSollar. I assisted in every aspect of helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs and we organized many community events throughout our partnership to grow our practice. I also managed over 40 properties for Red Brick Realty, under designated brokers, Sandy Hershey and Doug Hopkins. My role included marketing properties, executing leasing contracts, serving evictions, handled emergency maintenance requests, while growing my own real estate pipeline of new clients on the residential side.

As a Human Resource Recruiter, I interviewed and placed qualified candidates in specific industrial, office, technical and healthcare related positions, on a temp-to-perm basis, with many local major companies in and around the metropolitan area of Illinois, on behalf of franchise owner, Charles "Chuck" Bartells. I also participated in the OSHA safety training classes to meet standards required in the industry. I also provided structured in office training to increase office skills for many employees looking to advance their skill set and secure a permanent position with companies like Abbott. I also had to handle many situations with employees, that required difficult conversations on ways to improve their performance, attendance concerns, pay raise requests and many other facets of an employer/employee partnership.
