As part of a top 10 accounting and consulting firm, I provide leadership, management and strategic direction for the firm’s metro D.C. market including providing insight and advice to client engagement teams, fostering employee development and recruiting and driving growth. I serve clients focusing on internal auditing, risk assessment, fraud and forensics reviews and strategic consulting on a wide range of business issues. I'm a leader on Baker Tilly’s national diversity and inclusion steering committee as well a co-chair for the firm’s Talent Differentiation Task Force. I also serve on Baker Tilly’s Growth and Retention of Women committee. I've exemplified Baker Tilly’s value of stewardship throughout my career through active involvement in volunteering and serving as a board member for various nonprofit organizations, including the board of directors for the Washington Improv Theater and volunteering with Junior Achievement. The National Kidney Foundation recognized me with the All-Star Award in recognition of work as an advocate for the organization. I've also been recognized as a 2016 Minority Business Leader by the Washington Business Journal and received a 2015 Brava! Award from SmartCEO magazine, which recognizes female business leaders for their motivation, success and contributions to the community.
