IVN is an organisation for Environmental Education, where some 120 professionals and 18.000 volunteers throughout the Netherlands have a joint mission: to contribute to a sustainable society by connecting people with nature and their environment. My focus as Project Manager: to create and facilitate alliances (government, educational institutes, NGO, cultural institutes, corporates) concerning the themes 'Nature' and 'Visitor management'.

I enjoy helping project organisations to grow. I try to achieve this goal by focusing on the use of new management and communication tools on the one hand, and by bringing professionals into contact with inspired peers and specialists on the other hand.I focus on concerns related to information management: * Exchanges of knowledge between research, education, business, government institutions, museums and science centres, umbrella organisations and the public * Bundling and unlocking knowledge * Creating appealing forms of communication. From podcast to an interactive multimedia exhibition * Co-operation across individual organisations and disciplines Key business areas: * Sustainability, climate, biodiversity and science communication * Experience economy, leisure sector * Culture and history
