A couple years ago I came across some information on cybersecurity which peaked my interest. I dug deeper and explored the field more and the more I dove in, the more interested and inspired I became. After 10 years of professional work experience, I finally found my passion. This led me to enrolling in the Fullstack Academy cybersecurity bootcamp (which I recently graduated) with aspirations of becoming a cybersecurity professional. During my time with Fullstack I gained an extensive amount of knowledge and technical skills including:-Formed a solid foundations of computer knowledge; including Windows OS and Linux OS. -Mastered common CLI for Linux through Fullstack’s CTF challenges.-Learned Python basics and scripting; Bash scripting and used replit to write Python code, Python scripts, and Bash scripts with given parameters.While I know professionals in the field encourage people wanting to pivot into the industry to have a focus on which domain of cybersecurity they want to specialize in, in all honesty, I am genuinely interested in all the topics I have learned and been trained in. I hope over time I can find my fit within the field but for now I am eager to learn and continue to grow my cybersecurity skills and knowledge. I am passionate and results driven and look forward to putting my gained knowledge and experience to use and welcome the opportunity to connect with other security professionals!
