Monica was a founding member of Univision’s Women’s Leadership Council, an employee resource group to help advance women at Univision and prepare the next generation of leaders. In addition she co-chaired the public affairs committee of NCTA.She served as vice president of board of the PRSA Foundation and is on the audit committee of The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.Monica was named by PR News as Top Women in PR in 2014, by PRWeek as the In-House PR Professional of the year in 2015 and named to the inaugural PRWeek Hall of Femme in 2016.

As Senior Vice President, Monica helped create, launch and grow FH Hispania, Fleishman-Hillard’s Hispanic practice.

Monica managed Public Relations in Latin America, managing agencies and partners in countries in Central and South America.
