-Work collaboratively with other technical, non-technical and account management staff to analyze and understand current and future reporting and data requirements.-Construct new or changing database and ETL processes for CMS reporting requirements by working with internal resources. This includes the documentation of data definitions, data mapping and providing guidance for the Cognos 10 metadata management application, Framework Manager.-Successfully designed and executed project plan for the migration of over 100 standard and custom Cognos reports from a legacy Sybase IQ data warehouse to the enterprise data warehouse on a Netezza platform. This included identifying differences between environments and reports, user training, coordination of user acceptance testing and report development using Cognos 10 Report Studio or Business Insight Advanced.-Serve as business subject matter expert for legacy data warehouse content, processes, Framework Manager metadata model, report content and legacy Cognos 8 environment.-Master Data Management team member assigned to Patient Registry and Client Master projects using IBM Patient Initiate, MDM v10. Responsible for business analysis including the discovery and understanding of source data, providing job requirements to internal departments for automated daily delivery of data, working with key internal departments identified business rules through data record pair matching exercises and provides research and explanation for any data anomalies identified.

Manage business intelligence capability using IBM Cognos applications including Cognos 8.4, ReportNet, PowerPlay Transformer, PowerPlay Enterprise Server, Impromptu and PowerPlay Series 7 and Analysis Studio; SQL Plus, Enterprise Server, SQL Analyzer. Supported databases include Oracle and SQL Server.

Assigned to Tricare Management Activity.Responsible for the conversion of legacy mainframe reporting applications to the Cognos web-based platform using a DB2 data warehouse environment. This responsibility included sole ownership of the System Analysis, System Requirements, Design Documentation and Implementation processes.

• Worked in a data warehouse environment that included the use of Informatica to produce a star schema data warehouse based on the Kimball methodology. Responsible for the business intelligence support which included Impromptu catalog development, testing and deployment.• Gathered requirements and developed complex reports from OLTP system and data marts for daily review by internal report consumers. These reports were used to verify the integrity of the transaction system and converted from mainframe application.• Implemented a reporting automation and distribution system that e-mailed, printed, and produced PDF/HTML documents using Cognos products. Developed and wrote all installation and maintenance documentation, including emergency outage plans. The system was used by marketing, accounting and technical departments in order to evaluate daily pricing impacts on the open market as well as financial monitoring of refinery and system operations and integrity.
