About Monica Yap

My goal is to transform ours ways of working & living into a collaborative, respectful, integration of diversity and human centric culture. I am a transformation business agility coach, Training from the Back of the Room (TBR) trainer, and occasionally a speaker. I work with organization leaders, engineers, product managers, and designers, to help transcend the organization into value focus, hyper performing, learning and self-improving organization, delivering with high effectiveness and efficiency. My expertise ranges from assisting in large scale Agile transformation across organizations, shifting from project to product mindset to focus value delivery and innovation, coach development or business teams on adopting practices range from Lean Portfolio Management, Product Management, Scrum, Design Thinking, LeanUX, Kanban, XP (TDD, Refactoring, CI). I am passionate of delivering value to users and customers, therefore coaching and transforming into a product mindset, build, measure and learn. I am passionate in helping teams to transition to Agile and deliver frequently with high quality software. I found the XP technical practices specifically helpful with raising the software quality level in many ways, therefore I co-developed a Certified Scrum Developer workshop which focus specifically on XP practices such as CI, TDD, Refactoring. I also coach teams on various languages and platforms to adopt these practices.I am a regular CSM, CSPO co-trainer since 2010.
