About Mònica Zapata

I have spent most of my career in consulting. I have worked for different consultancies and I was the director of Optimyzet digital strategy consultancy for 10 years. Between October 2019 and December 2021 I was the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona and member of its Digital Transformation Commission. Between January 2022 and November 2023 I worked as Strategy and Transformation Director at CTTI - Center of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Government of Catalonia.I am also lecturer at business events, as well as teach at different universities and business schools: ELISAVA, ISDI, ESADE, The Valley, EAE Business School, KSCHOOL, University of Barcelona (UB), Instituto de Formación Continua IL3 , Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and University of Girona (UdG).Now, with all the experience I have acquired, I am once again flying independently in order to help people and organizations to change, improve and project new solutions.
