Organize and manage a performing arts project that supports the creation of contemporary dance work by local established and up and comingchoreographers in the surrounding areas of Newark, NJ.Secured funding for Newark Dances in 2021 and 2022 with grants provided by the Newark Artist Accelerator through Project For An Empty Space. These funds were made possible by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Program and The New Jersey Arts and Culture Recovery Fund. Managed all digital media and social media marketing, secured permits and insurance for outdoor performances, provided timely and effective communicationbetween artists and vendors concerning performance details, managed budgetsfor procurement of vendor services and artists’s fees, scheduled and coordinated technical rehearsals for performers and provided press releases to local media.
