Within a year of my tenure in the Vendor Coordination team I managed to clean up a lot of the backlog of unresolved cases that had built up over the previous months, rebuilding positive relationships with Vendors and internal Stakeholders. On average half of my working time I spent issuing documentation for Vendors providing training to HSBC via GP. The other half I focused on fixing all sorts of problems related to contracts and invoicing, dealing with both internal and external clients.

I recruited and coordinated the work of numerous freelancers with whom we cooperated on a regular basis. My tasks involved sourcing potential contributors with focus on establishing positive long-term cooperation as well as dealing with all formalities like preparing contracts and negotiating rates. I monitored project progress and dealt with potential problems to make sure assignments were completed on time. I acted as a multitask middle person between in-house analysts, external authors, accounts department and other project stakeholders and I ensured projects were allocated and completed properly from start to finish. I looked after all aspects of internal communications within BPO business unit in Wroclaw, including newsletter drafting and editing and updating BPO Intranet page. I took part in various additional projects, like organising a yearly company event for all employees from Wroclaw offices, or preparing the launch of Wroclaw office internet webpage where I was responsible for some of the written content and visual design.

I started off in a simple admin role, within a few months I moved to account management for the UK/Ire site, and in time took up some executive assistant responsibilities also covering the HR function which was in line with the evening studies I was doing at the time.
