• Individual counseling for inpatients and outpatients in various wards throughout the organization such as inpatient psychiatry, maternity/child, complex continuing care and out-patient programs such as cardiac rehab.

• Working in adult out-patient mental health/concurrent disorders:
• Individual counseling with those struggling with mental health or concurrent disorders drawing upon motivational interviewing, solution focused, interpersonal, narrative and cognitive behavioural therapy as well as.
• Participating in weekly Health and Hope groups to facilitate a service users’ recovery from addictions and mental health challenges
• Shadowing various social workers in different departments within Oakville Trafalgar Hospital such as In the Kidney Function Clinic, In-Patient Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Rehab and the General Hospital.
• Liaising with community partners in order to provide holistic care for patients such as Community Concurrent Disorder program and Hope Place
