Support and facilitate the identification, assessment, and mitigation of current and emerging risk exposures associated with the activities and operations of the assigned business group.Review and analyze business challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives.Develop and implement risk monitoring, risk reporting processes, & controls while evaluating and reporting results where necessary.Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing Control Management functional area expertise.Identify opportunity for process improvements within the scope of control team responsibilities and drive towards continuous improvement to enable efficiency and effectiveness.Provide support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs.Professionally and effectively collaborate and consult with all levels of the business and control teams and key stakeholders, including internal customers and second and third lines of defense.Be responsible for driving end-to-end risk & control related programs and related requirements/activities, which includes both detailed and tactical pieces in addition to strategic components.Demonstrate thorough functional understanding as a subject matter expert of aligned programs, policies, & processes.Drive program implementation, including effective change management.Develop and maintain processes and procedures through regular assessment of program requirements.Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact, identify and assess operational risk issues & assign risk ratings consistent with policy standards.Support regulatory reviews, testing, and audits.Provide guidance, training, and support to less experienced team members.Consult on complex RCSA and ERIA requirements.Establish appropriate quality checks and controls.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting employee development and ensuring a positive work environment.- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Document and implement best practices and industry standards to streamline workflows and optimize performance.- Budget Management: Oversee budget development and financial planning for the real estate department. Monitor expenses, track variances, and take corrective actions to ensure budgetary compliance and financial stability.- Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality service. - Monitor and analyze sales performance, rehab projects, and tenant placement metrics. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve overall operational performance.- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between internal/external partners and the CEO. Provide updates, present strategies, and address inquiries as needed.- Train/facilitate training and onboard new hires.

Supporting the Issues Management Program in the facilitation, coordination and documentation of all activities associated with the issue management or corrective action life-cycle in accordance with all prescribed timeframes. Developing and maintaining relationships with key business leadership, control executive partners, corporate compliance partners, legal/regulatory subject matter experts and group issues management. In addition, preparing documentation for the Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) as well as documentation which evidences completion of key issue management or corrective action milestones and deliverables.
