TALISMAN Hire Boksburg commenced business on 7 August 2019. This store comprises of the following five positions:TALISMAN BoksburgTALISMAN Boksburg (Inside Builders Warehouse)TALISMAN Meadowdale (Inside Builders Warehouse)TALISMAN Glen Eagles (Inside Builders Warehouse)TALISMAN Newmarket (Inside Builders Warehouse)I was involved in the planning, establishment, launching and management of this main store as well as the four Builders positions.On the 1st of March 2021, I was formally promoted to general store manager of Talisman Hire Boksburg. Some of my duties and responsibilities include:▪ All management duties - 5 branches▪ Managing and supervising 28 employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership▪ Recruiting, vetting, interviewing, and hiring new employees▪ Customer service function▪ Marketing the branches within the community to attract business▪ Record and research all financial information for analysis▪ Oversee budget reports, preparation of budgets, and analysis of budgets▪ Oversee asset management and quality management▪ Identify, evaluate and manage strategic risks and opportunities▪ Account reconciliations, daily stock ordering, capturing orders and invoices▪ Managing customer accounts and debt collecting▪ Daily workshop management

TALISMAN Hire joined forces with Massbuild to initiate a store-in-store concept inside Builders. Massbuild operates four complementary brands namely Builders Warehouse, Builders Express, Builders Superstore and Builders Trade Depot.I was involved in the initial establishment (28 stores) and training (37 stores) of these positions and offered ongoing administrative support and training nationally, as well as project coordination. I joined the project in 2018. We opened twenty-two (22) branches within six months during 2018, six (6) branches during 2019, two (2) branches during 2020 and one (1) branch during 2021.
