Over the past 15 years, I have developed strong design and project management skills that have enabled me to build experience in many areas of architecture, interior design, and construction. I thrive on challenge and change, and I look forward to building upon my curiosity in all aspects of business management, real estate, and architectural development. My previous experiences working under the direction of various prominent architects for over 13+ years have provided life-long practices that I continue to build upon while developing my own brand, MoCherie Designs, LLC. As a current MBA student at Howard University, I have gained many marketing, accounting, finance, and management strategies that would be great assets to any professional position. I have also been afforded the opportunity to partner with various financial institutions to assist in assessing the risk level of construction projects before and during construction. I believe that my energy, analytic skills, organizational abilities, and creativity in tackling problems will make a positive contribution to whatever task I set to accomplish. I am equally comfortable working independently to meet company goals, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. I have always been able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and coworkers at all levels. Along with my strong design and project management skills, I have also had the opportunity to gain skills in teaching and education as well as retail and customer service. While these jobs may not be in total compliance with my career path, having these experiences has allowed me to expand my qualifications and ultimately helped me round out my skill set in leadership, independence, team building, and management.
