I am an energetic, people-centric and proactive person. With a diverse work history, I have experienced some of the best and some of the most challenging careers available. I am a strong minded, honest and loyal person who will always go the extra mile. Work skills gained across multiple industries including - military - corrective services - hospitality management - financial control - administration - customer service, and within the apprenticeship sector, have combined to make my skill set unique. I have vast experience in management and team work and collaboration are important to me. In my current role as a Team Leader, and Support Advisor for apprentices, I am responsible for the identification and assistance with issues and concerns for employers and apprentices. I am the escalation point for the most difficult of cases from our Mentoring team, and I collaborate with the team to assist in forming strategies for complex cases. l enjoy the positive aspects of seeing young people start out on great career paths. With my support and ability to identify and assist with diverse needs, employment continues and both parties are able to move forward towards their goals. I have strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders that have been developed and maintained over many years. These relationships, coupled with my extensive experience, and, expertise in the compilation of management/support plans combine to make me a valuable resource in ensuring issues are resolved. Ongoing contact forms part of my after care plan, to ensure things remain on track and no other support requirements are identified.I have strong report writing, administration, communication (written and oral) and computer skills. I am quick to learn new systems and enjoy the challenge of change.
