Job Description: -- Clinical chair-side assistant; responsible for maintaining aseptic technique inside the clinic.-- Highly organized and detail oriented.-- Maintain and organize clinical supplies.-- Maintain clean environment and sanitize the clinic thoroughly -- Maintain and monitor inventory of dental and orthodontic supplies.-- Attends to the daily schedule of the orthodontist; such as patients' medical files and appointments.-- Assist orthodontist during dental treatments.-- Prepare and manage patients during the procedure.-- Preparing dental instruments necessary for the procedure; ensures that all instruments and equipments are sterilized prior to use and universal precautions are maintained.-- Responsible for taking X-rays, such as OPG (Panoramic X-ray) and Cephalometric X- ray.-- Assist orthodontist in Bonding and Banding procedures, arch wire changes and ties changes.-- Assists in removing single brackets and full mouth braces.-- Assists in bonding full and partial self-ligating (Damon system) and crystal braces.-- Taking, pouring and trimming impressions for study models.-- Fabricating Essix retainers.

Job Description: -- Assists the dentists and other dental professionals within the practice; provides professional and prompt service to all patients.-- Attend to the daily schedule of the dentist such as patients' files and appointments.-- Preparing and maintaining the sterility of dental instruments, supplies and equipments. -- Patient management during dental procedures.-- Preparation of dental materials: Cements, almalgam, composite, impression materials, etc.-- Assists dentists with all procedures to include filling of cavities, root canal treatment, tooth extraction, preparation of the teeth.-- Assists in some implant procedures.-- Taking and pouring impressions for study models and temporary crowns and bridges.-- Model trimming.-- Responsible for taking OPG (Panoramic X-ray) and Cephalometric radiographs.-- Performs administrative duties such as the completion and update of patient's records; inventory control, reordering and receiving of supplies.-- Instrument cleaning, sterilization, disinfection and re-circulation.-- Dental treatment room disinfection.
