Supported the formation of our Directive Board and the legal registration as a Brazilian NGO (CNJP No. 24.835.491/0001-59), whose mission is to connect international volunteers with local communities to support environmental conservation and youth development in Brazil. Assisted in the creation and marketing of the NGO's first ever volunteer packages including volunteer placement, accommodation, eco-tours and cultural education. Collaborated with local individuals and businesses to provide Portuguese, Capoeira and Samba classes for our volunteers, which in turn supported economic development in the local area.Forged trusting relationships with the Town Council and local schools so our volunteers could provide free English and Environmental Education classes for children. Lead our team of international volunteers in organising and hosting our first public fundraiser, also in collaboration with local businesses. Volunteer management – ensured the wellbeing of volunteers in Itacare, and helped to ensure that their volunteering experience created a positive impact for all involved.
