Hello! My name is Monique Mccants and I recently graduated from the University of South Alabama with my Accounting degree. I received my Associate's Degree in General Education in Business from Bishop State Community College in May 2017 where I am currently employed as a clerk for the Campus Police Department. I took a currently in the process of completing my Master's of Business Administration degree at Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama. I am actively searching for employment as an Accountant in the Houston, Texas area.My career job would be to work for a company, large or small, or a firm as a Tax Preparer, Staff Accountant or anything pertaining to my field. I have taken a QuickBooks course and I have studied Payroll Accounting at Bishop State Community College. I am also an entrepreneur of an e-commerce heel boutique called GILTS which stands for Girl I Love To Shop. I have been doing the full accounting process for my business for 7 months and I must say I really enjoy it. I want to gain a more hands-on experience with accounting outside of retail so I am better prepared to take the CPA exam. I am a quick learner, reliable, organized, and dedicated with a warm spirit and contagious smile! I have the greatest ability to learn new things and be trained. In all of my job titles, I have strived to be the best for the people I am servicing! I am a huge advocate for corporate responsibility and volunteering!As a clerk at Bishop State Community College and a former tax preparer, I possess many skills and I am an expert using Microsoft Office. I am trustworthy, loyal, and I uphold integrity which is why I know I will make a fantastic accountant based on my morals, beliefs and values.
