I am passionate about having a holistic approach to well-being and have over a decade of experience in dedication to empowering people through education, creative arts, training and events. Working as a counsellor and psychotherapist allows me to extend compassion and tailored support to individuals grappling with a spectrum of mental health challenges, helping them to experience transformation through a growing self awareness, acceptance and evidence based interventions. It is an honour to be alongside people as they journey through life’s challenges and a privilege to play a role in helping them to heal, grow and realise their goals.My current Msc research interest is mental health in performers. I also hold an MA in Theology where my research explored Black Millennial and Gen Z perspectives on congregational worship music from a black theology and decolonial perspective.Integrating my musical background, therapeutic insight, and theological studies to empower those I work with to live freely and fully is at the heart of what I do. My ongoing success in this I believe is a testament to the impact of collaborative, culturally-attuned and creative approaches.My recent book ‘Pressure off,’ explores the ways in which spiritual practices inspired by the life of Jesus can help to address the growing impact of stress in our every day lives.
