As a Master’s-educated senior executive with 10+ years experience, I have delivered multiple profitable business change programs and transformations. Spanning asset and investment management (buy-side), trustee administration, family office management and insurance, my goal is to create operational excellence with a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, exceptional client service and people development.In business, there is always something that requires improvement, or a hurdle to surmount. I steered their NZ$20M technology implementation that resulted in more investors and net new FUM.Faced with growth and sustainability, the Todd Family Office hired me to modernise the product offering, upgrade operations and build sustainable, compliant systems. I introduced controls and procedures to manage risk and frameworks that improved governance. One matrix ensured compliance with multi-jurisdictions’ regulatory requirements, and a relationship management framework made our approach to external advisors consistent.As a consultant, I helped diverse organisations resolve regulatory demands from remediation to integrating new responsibilities such as Consumer Duty. I also re-engineered operations that delivered scalability, fund accounting efficiencies and streamlined processes for faster client responses.After studying for an MBA in leadership and innovation, I was hired by my business school to project-manage the Lord Mayor’s new initiative that seeks to identify ways a Chief Risk Officer can facilitate risk-taking for growth while managing risk and regulatory demands.
