I have worked in the Academic Excellence Program (PROEX), CAPES, as a Postgraduate Researcher in the Master's modality, with a student bond in the Geosciences course (UFRGS) and an exclusive dedication regime.The research consisted of sedimentation and provenance studies of beach deposits in the Rio Grande do Sul state, focusing on a sector that harbors a large deposit of heavy minerals. To this end, fieldwork was carried out in the Rio Grande do Sul Coastal Plain and in the sedimentology, imaging, and isotopic geology laboratories, covering the collection, treatment, preparation, and analysis of samples. The final result covers the integration and statistical analysis of U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotopic data, from which a paper was published in the Sedimentary Geology journal, entitled: Andean fingerprint on placer sands from the southern Brazilian coast.
