- Engineering and Technology Institute Groningen (ENTEG), Green Chemical Reaction Engineering group- PhD research topics: characterization of technical lignins from biomass and extensive experimental work on reductive and oxidative strategies for lignin valorization to biobased chemicals and fuels (particularly hydroprocessing and ozonation). Highly trained in analytical techniques, data analysis, green chemistry, process engineering and statistics. Great communication and organization skills. 10+ publications in high impact journals (8 as first author). - The GSSE PhD council represents all PhD students (~1500) of the Faculty of Science and Engineering in the University of Groningen. - Activities concerning the monitoring and optimization of the productive process of specialty cellulose.

- Aqueous phase reforming (APR) of biobased sugar mixtures, aiming for an efficient conversion of biomass-derived streams into fuels. Extensive experimental work in a high pressure continuous set-up, screening of process conditions and promising catalysts, data analysis and lab analysis.

- Process engineering intern at PE-2 (high density polyethylene and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene production unit). Cooperation in a wide range of activities related to tracking and optimization of the productive processes. Participation and support in management reports, technical studies, data analyses, data visualization and risk analysis.- Final project of the internship: "Decreasing off-spec production through a new control strategy for partial pressures in the polymerization section."

- R&D activities targeting biodegradable surfactants, antioxidants and emulsifiers, analysis of petrochemical residues and lab-scale cleaning tests. Participation on the development of REMBET Q6, an environmentally friendly industrial surfactant for petrochemical industries.
