I've been seeing a steep rise in stress levels and anxiety/depression among all generations, but even more so with Millennials and GenZ; this trend will require HR to make additional investments to support mental health as the baby boomers start to retire. According to the World Health Organization, there is an ROI of $4 for every $1 invested in mental health. In addition, younger generations value emotional support services and are more willing to discuss these needs than previous generations. My services provide innovative solutions and serve as an effective recruiting tool in the war on talent to become an employer of choice.While there is a time and place for medical intervention, I believe there is a gap in the emotional well-being space that employers need to capitalize on. Many of my clients were seeing a therapist for years, and while the interactions served as an emotional release and a safe place to vent, the sessions were not addressing the root causes needed to make long-term life changes. Change behavior is hard and not all coaches are created equal. Many employers have EAP programs in place, however the challenge here is that there is no way to evaluate the effectiveness of the coaches. As a matter of fact, I've had EAP's reach out to me as an outsourced solution because of my reputation.In my 17+ years as an executive coach, I've created a process that is proven to drive behavior changes.
