Editorial ManagerCorelogic Feb 2020 - Sep 2020Toronto, Ontario, CanadaAs the company was working towards updating their marketing strategy, I was brought on to develop and maintain an editorial calendar for all enterprise content, in addition to creating a video and blog strategy for upcoming campaigns. I was required to work with stakeholders across North America to come up with a consolidated list of existing content channels and find ways to modernize them. During my time there, I was able to take lead on multiple Youtube series, a corporate podcast, and the roll out of a new project management tool.Of course, as the COVID-19 pandemic started to wreak havoc on the world in March 2020, this quickly became a remote position, which presented challenges from time to time. However, through the power of technology, my team was still able to film interviews, pitch a documentary series, redesign our blog layout, and much more! -
Content ProducerKanetix Ltd. Dec 2015 - Jun 2019Toronto, Canada AreaIn my years with the company, I closely worked with the marketing team and stakeholders to generate innovative written and video content for various campaigns and promotions. My position required me to research and write informational and consumer-friendly blog posts regarding finance and insurance, using search engine optimization principles, and posting them to our site. At times, I was asked to manage a roster of freelancers who often contributed to our blog. In addition, I lead production for video-focused campaigns. I produced, filmed and edited numerous video series for each brand under the Kanetix Ltd. umbrella. These scripted videos took an educational, light-hearted approach to personal finance and insurance.

Production InternCtv News Jan 2015 - Feb 2015Toronto, Canada AreaIn order to graduate, I was required to find an internship in relation to journalism. I found a placement on the production team for Canada AM, CTV's weekday morning news program. My day-to-day tasks included chasing guests on tight deadlines and arranging for them to appear on the show. I conducted pre-interviews and created research briefs for the hosts. I also attended and contributed to daily story meetings, where news team would pitch and brainstorm ideas for future items. My big project involved producing a week-long Alzheimer's series, featuring testimonials, pre-taped on-location stories, culminating in a live town hall on the topic. In addition, I assisted guest relations in greeting and briefing guests before they appeared on the show, and ensuring they were comfortable in the green room. Though I worked in the newsroom, I also went on remote shoots to gather b-roll footage for certain segments. -
