In this role I managed all aspects of day to day operations including human resources (staffing, training, supervision, development, scheduling, payroll), facilities management, financial management and production/product controls while also playing an integral role in the strategic leadership of the organization.I directed ongoing initiatives to increase productivity by improving and implementing better systems and processes. Under my guidance sales per labor hour (SLPH) improved from $80/hour to $100/hour in less than a year. Continuous improvement was the rule, not the exception at this organization, and my team and I embraced it wholeheartedly.I enjoyed serving on the Branding Team and in a Category Management role to ensure product selection and inventory decisions that aligned with the store brand.
