Falck, the world’s largest rescue company, is since 2016 rescue supplier for the Red Bull Air Race. Within this project Falck delivers rescue teams during the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.Within this project, I am the project assistant and I support the rescue operations manager in planning and administration of the project. For all team members and Red Bull Air Race I am the contact person for planning travel, lodgings, travel documents, schedules etc. When training is necessary I support the training manager and rescue manager with the organization.

Preparing EU-modules and experts for their (international) deployment to large-scale natural and man-made disasters is fundamental for a quality driven response system as set up by the EU, through the Community Mechanism for Civil Protection. Regular EU-training and exercising are distinct and complementary cornerstones of a sound preparedness strategy.The European Union awarded to Falck the assignment to design, plan, conduct and evaluate exercises for Civil Protection modules for the cycles 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and for the cycle 2014-2015 and 2016 - 2017..In the cycle 2014-2015 Falck will cooperate with the UK National Resilience, the Safety Region of Twente from the Netherlands and the Danish Education Center Langvang, to organise 3 exercises for Medium/Heavy Urban Search and Rescue modules, Advanced Medical Posts (with surgery) modules, TAST teams and EUCPT members.For the cycle 2013-2014 Falck organises 3 exercises for Medium/Heavy Urban Search and Rescue modules, TAST teams and EUCPT members. The exercises will be organised in cooperation with the Italian Civil Protection, the Estonian Rescue Board and the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA).In the first cycle, in 2012 and the beginning of 2013, Falck has organised 6 exercises; 3 exercises for Modex Lot 1 and 3 exercises for Lot 2. These exercises were organised for the following modules: High Capacity Pumping, Water Purification, Advanced Medical Posts with or without Surgery, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defence (CBRN), Medium/Heavy Urban Search and Rescue, TAST and EUCPT.
