Monisha Basak grew up working in different voluntary organizations, and skill development clubs of Bangladesh. She has learned a lot about leading young people, gained knowledge in team building, critical thinking & problem solving over time. She is pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester, New York. Some of her recent achievements are-- Champion of Smart Power and Energy Challenge 2023- Champion of Digital Innovation Challenge 2023- Champion of Bikiron- Sustainable Energy Innovation Challenge - Champion of Speak Out For Engineering (SofE) Institutional heat & 2nd Runner-up in Nationals- 1st Runner-up of BdOSN Dev Mania - 1st Runner-up of Girls' Innovation & Entrepreneurship pitch competition by BdOSN- 2nd Runner-up of EMK Women Techpreneurship pitch competition She is a research enthusiast, working on multiple projects related to Brain-signal processing, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, & open to any collaboration.
