I'm a senior chemistry student at Drexel University interested in medical research and its applications to patient treatment and care! Alongside my chemistry major, I am also pursuing minors in biological sciences, physics and art history. At Drexel's College of Medicine, I conduct research regarding peptide synthesis of entry inhibitors to target the HIV-1 gp120 receptor. I lead the design and synthesis of novel compounds, relying on data from functional assays. I am involved in continuing to support operations at World Upstart, a company focused on guiding international MedTech start-ups with navigating the U.S. Life Sciences landscape. I am also involved in volunteer programs at CHOP, Drexel's Community Wellness HUB and Drexel's Peer Counseling program. Currently my future education and career plans entail a research-based program in medicine, expanding upon my skills and integrating my knowledge from interdisciplinary coursework.
