My aim as a researcher is to explore and exhibit dialogues, communities, local histories, unknown and untold. I am invested in social cohesion, in consideration to how coloniality effects record keeping, cultural heritage, and documentation of marginalised narratives. I manage local history projects, curate exhibitions, and actively enhance engagement with the archive, with a range of audiences. Ramsey helped migrants seeking help with housing, jobs, and education. She kept all correspondence and as a result her archive preserves the first-person voices of several migrants.
