I am leading a critical appraisal of British Empire Exhibition collection. I will be creating a new catalogue for both archival ephemera and over 300 museum objects, producing handling copies and improving preservation of collection. I am managing volunteer programme, guiding cataloguing of the archive, with focus on the the interpretation of items and decolonising archival descriptions. I will be curating an exhibition and a research guide for the collection future research.

I assist with developing and cataloguing records of the University’s unique archive collection, such as the UNHCR Archive, UEL Institutional records, the British Olympic Association archive. I am the curatorial lead internal and external celebratory events and exhibitions. Handling loans, content and research and displays. As heritage team lead on the 125th UEL anniversary task group, I organised the Library and Archive output for HM King Charles recent visit to our university campus. I led our bid writing process for our National Heritage Lottery Fund grant application for UEL Digital archive Preservation platform and collaboration Olympic research centre with British Olympic Association. I have closely assisted and helped with the organisation of on external Heritage Lottery funded engagement projects such as From East to West and Creating Ground CIC; Colouring Greenwich.

Examined and interpreted historical descriptions for the official guides, of East India Company monuments, in St Pauls Cathedral. I led lectures with the MA Refugee Studies at University of East London, 'Spaces, Bodies and Powers' module

I conducted, edited and archived interviews with South Asian educators, commissioners, authors, curators, artists and activists from South Asian Diaspora during the 1980s. I managed, organised volunteer programme. Teaching research and cataloguing, digitising, handling, packaging and metadata for SADAA's periodical and individual artist collection. I created research on the legacy, politics and collective empowerment within the South Asian Diaspora Arts during the 1980s and 1990s.Handle research inquires, access and development policy. I created and manage the social media channels. I edit our video material for social media clips, have a catalogue of social media images from the archive and interact with networks, individuals, and organisations.

I create shadow copies of personal correspondence, local records and documents of Edith Ramsay, community activist who served on the British Colonial Advisory. Ramsey helped migrants seeking help with housing, jobs, and education. She kept all correspondence and as a result her archive preserves the first-person voices of several migrants. I conducted Freedom of Information assessment, redacting personal information following the FOI and Data Protection Assessment guidelines.

The first such role in the UK. My responsibilities were providing welfare and financial support and advice for students. I ran weekly support session for advice via email or in person. I set up a forum for students to offer advice to on another. With the union support we began the successful Free Student Breakfast held every Thursday morning. I was a part of the schools Equality and Diversity Committee. I was a part of the union Finance Committee. I sat on the board for Union Trustees. I was apart of the Decolonising the Curriculum Committee, originally championed by SOAS. I was co-chair for some pivotal union campaigns such as lobbying for the new union role of Diversity and Liberation Officer.
