I joined as European Power Analyst in June 2013 and became Lead Analyst in January 2015.• Lead modelling analyst on various key topics in European Power: long-term power price outlook, market reform, capacity markets, utility strategy, carbon and nuclear policy, grid stability and power system flexibility.• Steered analyst team to research the impact of solar and wind power on grid stability and identify solutions for flexibility such as demand response and better forecasting.• Managed overhaul of BNEF’s power market modelling architecture, replacing in-house software with commercial solution (Plexos).• Frequently called upon to provide expert support during meetings with key clients and prospects including UK Government, EU Commission, major EU utilities and investors. • Exxon Mobil is a major oil and gas company and the world’s largest refiner. I joined Exxon’s Motor Oils and Specialties department as part of a graduate program.• Planned +$50m EAME advertising budget based on input from management, advisors and local teams and provided analytical support to negotiations with global office. Controlled spend after budget release resulting in 100% spend.
