I probably should have two LinkedIn pages since I do two different, somewhat varied avocations.During the day, 40 hours a week, I work as an architect trying to make buildings better for our clients through a variety of means, both in the realm of drawings and specifications. That part I've been doing since 1986, although there was an unplanned hiatus of eight years within that time span.On nights and weekends you can find me doing my writing - everything from my weekly contribution to The Patriot Post to my new Substack pages: my eponymous one that looks at political issues and The Knothole, which considers baseball and its history. Back in 2019 I published my second book, The Rise And Fall of the TEA Party - And How It Elected Donald Trump (now available on Amazon.) I've finally moved on from monoblogue, a blog I began in 2005 and the foundation for my writing hobby/obsession.As you can see, it's hard to pin me down into a category - the architecture pays my bills, but the writing is in my plan for my golden years. I just got started earlier than I thought I would!
