Brewing Mead is the art of fermenting honey, water and yeast. It has been a hobby to the present day, and now transforming it into a business. Some of the fruits that I have used are - pomegranate, cranberry, apple, pear, plum, kiwi, pumpkin, and Cherry. I have also done hard lemonade, and hard apple cider. Other projects that I have done were mint leaves and maple syrup, None of those ended well. Fruits that have made the never do again list, are watermelon, acai berry, and citrus fruits (lemon, pineapple, and orange) they taste fine but an ugly appearance about 50% of the time. Finally I have figured out my water problem and FINALLY I'm getting started with with 8 gallons in beginning middle and end stages. Where I have them stored is a little cooler so instead of 6 to 8 weeks its 3 months and counting AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGG!AND DONE finally racked out first batch of success 17.5 % by volume 0 sugar calling it naughty chrri and have been around to a few small groups of people and very buddy likes it getting into a graphic designer for a label and that is coming along nicely.
