Pavement Coatings was a family owned business specializing in pavement preservation products. PCI manufactured protective coatings for parking lots and driveways. PCI also sold related equipment and materials related to the pavement preservation industry. PCI was started in 1980 and grew steadily each year. In October 2013 PCI was acquired by Paving Maintenance Supply Inc. The acquisition was a great opportunity to combine our strengths with those of PMSI.

After seven years the sales increased to $5400000 with updated equipment, reputation, labor force (hired first female on crew). PSC was sold in Spring of 2000 and is still a growing successful company.

In the physical chemistry department at Lilly, I was a mass spectropist working with other chemist for the understanding known and unknown compounds generated by Lilly laboratories. Mass Spectrometry is a powerful tool creating molecular ions and accelerating through an electrical or magnetic field in order to determine the mass of the molecular ion and its fractions. We presented a paper on Salt interference of Fast Atom Bombardment Mass Spectrometry at ASMS conference.
