Conducts all-source intelligence research and analysis to identify potential national security concerns from refugee and asylum applicants of selected nations for U.S. citizenship. Analyzes multiple United Nations refugee reports and persecution statements to identify testimonial inconsistencies and potential national security concerns for adjudicative consideration. Studies Middle-Eastern conflict conditions at the micro-country level; produces in-depth, accurate summary reports utilized by the interviewing Refugee Officer to assist in adjudicative verdicts. Identifies information gaps and recommended lines of questioning to fill various Priority Intelligence Information Requirements, as well as Homeland Security Standing Information Needs, and other information requirements. • Conducts enhanced vetting of refugee applicants utilizing US classified system databases and systems• Cross-references data against standing applicant information holdings for possible terrorism links• Executes post-interview analysis of Syrian refugee case interview notes to identify areas of needed additional research• Generates case-specific intelligence reporting for adjudication purposes, and nominates individuals for new or enhanced watch-listing inclusion within the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment and Terrorist Screening Center Database applications.

Supervised the training and professional development of 15 personnel to include Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers, and enlisted personnel of varying intelligence disciplines. Established and maintained systematic, cross-referenced intelligence records and files providing direct analytical support to US Army Central (ARCENT) and US Central Command (CENTCOM) intelligence sections and areas of responsibility. Managed the review, tasking, and tracking of Requests for Information (RFI) to completion or forwarding for enhanced analysis. Coordinated directly with CENTCOM J2 (Intelligence & Security) Staff on Operational Planning information for various countries in the CENTCOM area of responsibility. Selected over eight senior personnel to attend the CENTCOM Collection Management Course for the unit. Developed section Collection Management training plan to properly prepare newly assigned personnel to work in the section. Oversaw the Community On-Line Intelligence System for End-Users and Managers (COLISEUM) Collection Management database account creation and RFI management process for the section. Analyzed current intelligence holdings to identify gaps and to recommend subsequent intelligence collection requirements.

Managed the day-to-day operational functionality of the Theater Ground Intelligence Center-Central (TGIC-C) facility, supporting ARCENT and its forward-deployed elements, performing Joint Security Operations; ensured facility complied with all Installation and Army directives; coordinated with multiple Army, Joint Service, and civilian agencies for mission support; served as liaison with leadership of multiple intelligence units. Accountable for facility property valued at $50M. Led the facility Secured Compartmented Information Facility expansion; coordinated with Installation agencies and Unit staff to complete $1.7M project. Spearheaded development and implementation of the unit’s mass classified information destruction policy and capability.

Served as First Sergeant for multi-disciplined Intelligence Company that conducts deployable All-Source operations capability, fixed facility and tactical Theater Intelligence operations in support of ARCENT and CENTCOM; maintained two deployable Distributed Common ground Systems-Army (DCGS-A) Intelligence systems and equipment valued at over $15M; supervised the health, welfare, and professional development of 132 Soldiers, as well as the support of 11 contractors and one Department of the Army civilian. Selected as First Sergeant over 10 more experienced Senior NCOs. Principle advisor to the Company Commander on all Soldier issues. Deployed more than 50 Soldiers in support of ARCENT and CENTCOM missions while maintaining fixed facility intelligence operations. Oversaw successful deployment and completion of the Company’s first ever deployable Intelligence Support Element during 2011 Vanguard Focus Exercise. Led the implementation Multi-Mission Signal Intelligence Teams for deployment with maneuver units in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Developed a greater association within the company and Cobra Focus/Viper Focus/P2P3 through effective communication.

Fort Gordon, Georgia

Served as principle advisor to Afghanistan/Pakistan intelligence team OIC on all enlisted personnel matters; in charge of the development, performance, discipline and health of 20 military personnel; oversaw day-to-day operations and personnel support to intelligence product dissemination in support of CENTCOM, Combined Joint Task Force 82nd/101st, and forward deployed units in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; accountable for over $4M in intelligence equipment. Selected over four senior enlisted personnel to serve as Senior Enlisted of Center intelligence Fusion cell. Conducted unit’s first Deployable Intelligence Support Element exercise.

Baghdad, Iraq

Served as Senior Team SGT on National Police Transition Team (NPTT) assigned to 2nd Iraqi National Police Battalion, Kayada Brigade, tasked as the Iraqi Prime Minister’s quick-reaction force; executed responsibilities and duties equivalent to that of a Company First Sergeant. Worked directly with Team Officer in Charge on decision making and team course of action recommendations; advised the Iraqi NP Battalion Sergeant Major and Company First Sergeants on all aspects of the NCO Corps training and responsibility. Served as Team Intelligence NCO Advisor. Developed the 1st civil consideration assessment (ASCOPE) in the Multi-National Division-Southeast (MND-SE) Rumaylah oil field region in Iraq since 2003. Personally trained 100 National Police Officers on proper weapons posture and body position for combat operations. Maintained 100% accountability of two Mine Resistant Ambush Protection vehicles and 1 M1114 HMMWV and additional components, totaling $2.1M.

Fort Huachuca, Arizona

Senior Small Group leader for the 35F Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (BNCOC) with responsibilities commensurate to those of a Senior Drill Sergeant. Supervised the training of 250 NCOs annually in common military, leadership, team, individual and intelligence technical skills. Directed, trained, mentored and counseled 5 small group leaders who conducted evaluations, composed and revised academic evaluation reports and designed training support packages. Selected as the NCOA Instructor of the 2nd Quarter by Senior Leadership due to his meticulous teaching technique. Managed the creation of training materials for 252 Programs of Intelligence Instruction hours.

Fort Meade, Maryland

Served as Small Group Leader for the 96B & 35F Military Intelligence Analyst BNCOC with duties equivalent to a Platoon Sergeant. Trained, mentored and counseled up to 75 NCOs annually in common military skills, physical fitness, and MOS related individual and collective tasks; constructed 75 DA service school evaluations covering academic performance and leadership ability. Selected over 50 Senior Intelligence Instructors to serve on the Installation All-Source Working Group; assisted with the development of the Army Critical Thinking regulation. Hand-picked by the Academy S-3 to serve as the unit representative for review of FM 2-33.5; assisted with the development of the Army Intelligence Reach Regulation. Developed and revised 17 academic lesson plans, training aides and test evaluations covering 253 hours of Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) authorized instruction time.
