I am a senior IT executive with 25 years of experience in Software & Solutions across India, UAE and Bahrain. My success so far can be attributed to some absolutely outstanding managers in my early years, along with the good fortune of leading teams with exceptional talent and commitment.During my time in the Industry, I have successfully managed sales of high value software solutions. I’ve had the opportunity of helping the South Asia team at Symantec Nee VERITAS in setting up the distribution business for commercial products in India. During this time, I had to work with OEM’s, Distributors, System Integrator', Regional and Local Channel partners. It was at Symantec, I had my first assignment of setting up the entire country operations, that helped me grow as a human being, leader and professional. The time at IBM India was a rich and rewarding experience. It spanned across managing Enterprise accounts to leading the IBM WebSphere Group, and working on a once in a life time projects.I was offered the opportunity to work with GBM in Dubai to help establish and grow the IBM Software Unit. I now have a P&L responsibility of this group across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This responsibility also includes growing the third party solutions portfolio. The team that I lead consists of Territory Leaders, Software Account Managers, Technical Consultants, Architects and Operations Executive. I am comfortable in leading business discussions, their priorities and challenges and the role technology can play as an enabler and supporter. Solution areas that I can hold a business discussion around are Big Data and Advanced Analytics, Digital Transformation ( around ArtificiaI Intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain, Cloud ), Enterprise Security, and Mobility.
