Versient was a provider of logistics solutions, including management, procurement, and distribution of print and corporate materials.• Responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure after the company acquired B2E Resource and in preparation for the company’s subsequent acquisition by Shamrock Acquisition Company. • Oversaw the daily operations of the development and operations departments, including managing personnel and maintaining the corporate and production networks at an off-site, hosted facility. • Worked with senior management to produce technical and personnel inventories and documentation necessary for the acquisition. Met with potential acquirers to outline the technical infrastructure leading to the final acquisition.• Established website development and implementation standards for an ASP-driven B2B web application.

SpeakOut.com was a political portal site that later became Ntercept Communications, a market research company that created proprietary technology to gather real-time polling data and other survey information.• Direct oversight of website engineering team (using IIS 4/5, ASP, Oracle 8i, HTML 4, CSS, Flash, XSLT) that created web-based interfaces to conduct over 400,000 surveys for Fortune 100 companies. • Responsible for customer experience and user-interface development. • Responsible for site efficiency, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Michael Baker Corporation is a federal government contracting company.• Analyzed, designed, programmed, and implemented web applications for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).• Responsibilities also included database modeling and administration, web server administration, and software engineering documentation.

VantagePoint was an Internet startup by John Deere that created the first online Crop Management system.• Lead the technical creation and implementation of the Crop Management System, an ASP web application with over 300 pages.• Created site infrastructure, coding standards, and graphics.• Conducted code reviews to ensure standards adherence.• Coordinated efforts with the release manager and assisted with the deployment and administration of the production site.
