In my recent role of Head of NYSE Trading Floor Operations:I am responsible for developing and directing execution of day-to-day operational processes, while maintaining strict compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. In my previous role of Vice President, Data Center & Trading Floor Operations (NYSE Euronext):I oversaw and maintained 24/7 US & European critical infrastructure of primary and backup data centers for NYSE and Euronext. I created and steered implementation of targeted operations processes to enhance customer satisfaction, while liaising between trading floor brokerage community and information technology teams. I planned, established, and presented successful business plan for data center and trading floor operations to Global CIO, as well as devised tactical initiatives resulting in operational cost savings and efficiency improvements. In my previous role of Managing Director:I designed, determined, and spearheaded implementation of day-to-day operational processes and procedures with keen focus on improving efficiency and augmenting revenue streams. I led and coached team of 100 direct reports, including senior directors, managers, and technical staff. I analyzed problem responses to eliminate repetition and optimize procedures. I reviewed design of new installations and executed changes to existing systems through scheduled meetings and touch-bases. I devised and deployed asset management system to track asset locations, repair history, and spare inventory quantities for trading floor hardware.Below were my Key Achievements in this role:➢ Allocated and administered $5M capital and operational expenses budget of Trading Floor Support.➢ Slashed $700K in annual costs, while increasing efficiency through cross training and development of staff.➢ Achieved and maintained 3-minute response/resolution time per incident, while overseeing trading floor service desk successfully.
