Monte is an accomplished professional who has accumulated extensive experience in all the core facets in the global music industry. He has worked his way up from being a roadie and tour manager to engineering and producing local acts in various recording studios such as For The Record, Studio 143, and Grand Master Studios. He also hosted a new music radio show at KNDI Honolulu and worked as a contributor at Skratch Magazine several years.Over the past 25+ years, Monte has developed his industry skills as starting as the Production/Art Director for the Network 40 at The Network Magazine Group. Then he honed his A&R craft by managing the day-to-day operations of Clear Channel’s New Music Network in 2001, which aimed to showcase unsigned independent talent in North America. Furthermore, Monte worked with Fontana/Universal-distributed label IRock Entertainment in various capacities such as A&R, online marketing, production, digital sales, and street team coordination, while also co-managing multi-platinum artists Night Ranger.In 2005, Monte joined SMC Recordings as VP New Media/Production Director and contributed to building the label into Fontana’s No.1 Urban/Hip-Hop label. Since 2007, Monte has been a Sr. Vice President at A&R Worldwide, playing an integral part in the success of various brands associated with the company. These brands include Pangea International Music Publishing, Passport Approved Syndicated Radio Show & Live Tour, hushhush Attack Social Media Marketing, One Movement For Music Magazine, and the International music and media conferences MUSEXPO, Worldwide Radio Summit, Global Rock Summit, and Global Synch Summit. Monte brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his current role and has demonstrated his ability to succeed in the dynamic and competitive music industry.
