Obtained environmental closure letters for multiple sites. Managed operation and maintenance of a Groundwater Containment System (GCS) and a wastewater treatment system at two different facilities. The GCS was designed to treat a specific plume of chemical contamination by pumping water through an air stripper. The treated water would then be discharged to a permitted storm-water runoff ditch. The wastewater treatment system collected storm-water and rail yard train maintenance waste liquids into a catch basin before being pumped through Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit that separated the oil and grease into holding tanks that were then recycled. The separated water would then go to a Metropolitan Sewer District plant located nearby for further processing. Both systems used automation control systems to operate the treatment equipment. Served as Safety Officer for the office and field workers providing personal monitoring and assistance for health and safety purposes in the field and for corporate reporting and auditing purposes.
